Is the hot property market here to stay, or are things starting to slow down?
After rapid price growth across nearly every part of the country this year, we’re starting to hear whispers that the property market may shift gears soon.
The winter market is usually when property takes a break – but will it this year? To discuss the year that we’ve had thus far, and what we’re likely to see through the next three to six months, we’re joined by independent economist Saul Eslake on this week’s episode of Property Unpacked.
He tells us: “there certainly doesn’t seem to be any slowing in the demand for properties”.
Saul also commented on the recent grants announced by the federal government. “Frankly these disturb me, I don’t think we need to add even further to the demand for property at the moment.”
